For the portrait of design & web I looked up myself on google and found out that all my liked youtube video's where there to see for everyone, I used the most recent ones and a pixelized picture of myself to create a portrait.

For the portraits: Europe, the world and Rotterdam I used one overall concept. For every portrait I thought about one word that for me corresponds with that subject with every letter of the subject I came up with a synonym.

Rotterdam,
Feeling LOST

I used black paper and black inked so the typography would get lost on the paper. You can barely see it at distance, but in some lights it is visible.

World,
Feeling CRUEL

I used black paper and red type because that for me corresponds to "cruel" it's very dark and in the face, I scratched out the letters with a pen to really get the feeling of cruel.

HOTGLUE WON'T LET ME ROTATE

I used very small lettering and played around with the scanner to get a different effect because Europe is different from the rest of the world of course.
